Crowthorne Fire Station has vacancies for youths aged 12 - 18 who want to become 'Young Firefighters'. The group meet every Wednesday at 1900hrs til 2100hrs. The aim is to give young persons an insight to the world of firefighters and community spirit, based around a youth club background. Topics covered include hose/ladder drills, first aid, firefighting equipment, knots & lines etc. Visits are arranged to other locations and there is a summer camp every August.
