Music On Fire - The Sandhurst Fireworks Prom

Sandhurst Music on Fire! Due to unprecedented demand the Army Benevolent Fund will be staging its hugely successful Music on Fire! – The Fireworks Prom at The Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst on 22nd, 23rd and 24th September this year.

Music on Fire! is the UK’s most spectacular outdoor event – a stunning blend of live popular and classical music, thousands of thrilling and unique fireworks and a magical Son et Lumiere.

Myleene Klass who is hosting the Sandhurst evening, will also perform, along with Patti Boulaye, a 100-piece military orchestra and a 100-voice choir. The voices of Dame Judi Dench, Robert Hardy, Honor Blackman, Kate Adie and Sir Donald Sinden will narrate the show. The Red Devils will also make a breathtaking night-time drop.

The unmissable event will once again be held in the exclusive setting of The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and guests will be invited to picnic on the lawn in front of the Old College as they enjoy the show. The theme for this year’s event is War and Peace, with the audience being taken on a journey from the creation of the world, right through to Armageddon.

The fireworks and musical spectacular was first staged in 2004 and is co-ordinated by Major Sir Michael Parker, the man behind the Golden Jubilee celebrations at Buckingham Palace.

Tickets are priced from £27.50 and available through http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk by calling 0870 606 3473.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Army Benevolent Fund (visit www.armybenfund.org), which supports soldiers, former soldiers and their families in times of need.
