Cantores Concert

Church of the Holy Ghost 7.30pm

Cantores Chamber Choir join in the Carnival with a programme of music from the 16th century to the modern day conducted by Alun Grafton. They will perform in the Church of the Holy Ghost, New Wokingham Road by kind permission of Father Kevin Jones.

Race Night

Edgbarrow Sports Centre 7pm

Come for an exciting, thrilling evening at the RACES – appropriately at Edgbarrow Sports Centre, Grant Road, Crowthorne. This is NOT a film evening – the horses are wooden and move without great exertion by the owners or jockeys but in accordance with the rules.
This is a FUN evening and you will have the opportunity to become an owner or a jockey for the races and wager on the Tote for each race for small sums.
The evening has been organized by David Worrall and has proved very popular when it has been held throughout the Borough. This is the first time in Crowthorne so definitely not an evening to be missed.
The event starts at 7pm with the first race starting at 8pm. The tickets are £8, which includes a fish and chip supper are available at Playhouse Cleaners in Dukes Ride. A licensed bar will be available.
