Usborne Books At Home ~ Crowthorne "Vip Event"
Crowthorne resident, Karen Gyngell, has been an Usborne Books at Home Organiser for about a year. As a full time mother to a toddler, she decided that as she and her son enjoyed Usborne books so much, it would be great to share them with as many other people as possible. The titles, for children of all ages, range from fiction to reference, with puzzle and craft books too. There are even games and jigsaws as well. Since starting as an Organiser, Karen has run parties for other mums in their houses and book fairs for local schools. Her customers earn books as commission on sales at their events.
Karen has also recently launched a website which contains a link to the Usborne online catalogue, plus information about forthcoming events and offers. Visit the site at http://www.usborneonline.org/crowthornebooks. She can also be contacted by phone on 01344 776537 or email gyngell@yahoo.co.uk.
Karen will be having an Open Evening from 8pm on Wednesday 24th January in order to introduce the brand new 2007 catalogue. In addition to looking through the catalogue containing over one thousand titles, guests will be able to view over two hundred books in her current stock. Anyone is welcome to come along to 46 Lyon Road, Crowthorne, to browse, buy or just have a glass of wine! And if they bring a copy of this article they will be entered into the free prize draw!
