Man assaulted in Sandhurst

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 26-year-old man was assaulted in Sandhurst last week.

At about 12 noon on Tuesday 2 September, the man was walking along a footpath near Evenlode Way, Sandhurst. As he approached the underpass near Snaprails Park, someone approached and punched him in the face, causing him to fall to the ground, before stabbing him in the leg.

The man, who did not see his attacker, sustained several minor cuts, for which he was treated at Frimley Park Hospital and discharged.
