Musical melodies at Mayor's Sandhurst charity concert

Bracknell Forest Mayor, Cllr Bob Edger, together with the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst will be hosting a concert next month in aid of the mayor's charity, Childline.

The event will take place on Saturday 4 October from 3pm at the Royal Memorial Chapel in the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst and tickets to the concert are now available to buy.

It will feature the combined choirs of the Chapel Royal, Hampton Court and the Royal Memorial Chapel and all proceeds will be shared between Childline and the Sandhurst Military Academy Commandant's charities.

Cllr Bob Edger, Mayor of the Borough, said: "This will be an excellent event in aid of charity and I do hope as many people as possible are able to join me. It will be an event to remember. The Royal Military Academy is a spectacular location in beautiful grounds and the two choirs performing are really quite outstanding."

Tickets are available from the Mayor's office at Bracknell Forest Council by calling: 01344 352103 and cheques should be made payable to 'The Mayor's Charity 2008-2009'.

For anybody buying tickets then for security purposes, the Sandhurst Royal Military Academy require details of all tickets holders. Therefore names and car registration details must be provided in advance. Attendees will also need to take with them a photo ID, for example a passport or driver's licence.
