Reward offered in connection with Sandhurst armed robbery

Insurers acting for the owners of jewellery stolen in Sandhurst earlier this month are offering a reward for its safe return.

The reward is five per cent of the value of any property recovered, subject to the conviction of those responsible for the theft.

At about 11am on Monday 4 August, two men wearing full-face motorcycle helmets and carrying handguns forced their way into a house in Yorktown Road, Sandhurst. They threatened the occupants and tied them up before stealing jewellery and valuables worth a substantial sum.

The occupants were not physically injured but were left very shaken by the incident.

The Sandhurst police investigation into the robbery is continuing, but no arrests have yet been made.
