Serious Sandhurst road traffic collision

Sandhurst Police are appealing for witnesses after two people were seriously injured in a road traffic collision in Rackstraw Road, Sandhurst, on Sunday (4/1).

At approximately 12.10am, a silver Ford Fiesta travelling from the Meadows shopping centre towards Bracknell was in collision with two pedestrians crossing the road outside the Rackstraw public house.

The pedestrians – a man aged 61 and a woman aged 59 from the Sandhurst area – both sustained serious injuries and were taken to Royal Berkshire Hospital, where they are still receiving treatment this morning (5/1).

The driver of the Ford Fiesta stopped at the scene. No-one has been arrested in connection with the incident.
