Attempted burglary at Sandhurst off-licence
Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted break-in at an off-licence in Sandhurst on Sunday (8/2)..
At about 3.35am a silver Ford Sierra reversed into the front window of Threshers in Yorktown Road, Sandhurst. A man got out of the vehicle and tried to gain entry to the shop through the shattered glass.
When his attempt was unsuccessful, the man jumped back into the car, which drove along Swan Lane. There, it hit the back of a purple Rover Metro, causing damage to the Rover’s rear bumper, before turning off towards Tesco.
The Ford Sierra had previously been reported stolen in Hampshire.
