Exposure in Sandhurst

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man exposed himself in Shepherds Meadow on Marshall Road, Sandhurst.

A 54-year-old Sandhurst woman was walking her dog at around 5.15pm on Thursday 6 August when a youth appeared, who then shouted to another youth. As she walked on, the second youth appeared with his shorts around his ankles and lifted his hooded top to reveal his bottom.

He then jogged on to a Sandhurst fishing path at the edge of the river, where the first youth was waiting. The woman continued to walk on and, as she drew level, the second youth shouted obscenities at the woman while directly facing her and lifted his top to expose his genitals.

The first Sandhurst youth is approximately 15-years-old, white, not tanned, 5ft 5in and stocky build, but not fat. He has short fair hair and was quite tidy looking. He was wearing a football training top (not a football shirt), with blocks of black and blue.

The second Sandhurst boy was about 5ft 7in, white, slim, with very pale legs. He possibly had dark hair. He was wearing a plain white hooded top, which was too large and came down to his mid-thigh. He was also wearing dark coloured shorts. He spoke with a British accent.

PC Alec Phillips, investigating the incident, said: “If you have any information regarding this incident or recognise the description of the youths, please call 0845 8 505 505, the 24-hour Thames Valley Police non-emergency number.

“If you don’t want to speak to police or give your name, please call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
