Crowthorne and Sandhurst

Edgbarrow Sports Centre in Crowthorne is closed following a fire in the early hours of Wednesday (December 23) morning.

The blaze started in the boiler room, next to the Crowthorne reception area. No one was hurt and an investigation has begun to find the cause.

The centre will be closed until after the Christmas and new year period. We apologise for any inconvenience.

All Edgbarrow gym users can use the fitness centre at Sandhurst Sports Centre on a casual basis. All annual and direct debit members can use the facilities at the Bracknell Leisure Centre.

The family pantomime, Aladdin, due to be performed on Thursday, December 31, will now go ahead in the Edgbarrow School hall, Crowthorne at 1.30pm. For tickets or further information contact Sandhurst Sports Centre on 01344 778836.
